HIPEC entails delivering high-dose heated chemotherapy in the operating room after surgical removal of visible disease and is effective in different types of cancers. He specializes in complex cytoreductive surgery and heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). He is an expert on the treatment of cancers in the abdomen, particularly cancers that have spread to the peritoneum, the membrane that lines the abdominal cavity.
Oliver Eng is a board-certified UCI Health surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies, metastatic malignancies, advanced gastrointestinal cancers, sarcomas, and neuroendocrine tumors.
